  Where a client has a hip ended house and requires an eaved bedroom set within the existing front and rear slopes, a side dormer is constructed normally for the purposes of creating headroom over the new stairwell, as well as additional floor area to the bedroom. Side dormers may also be applicable to certain types of projects requiring Town & Country Planning permission usually in combination with a small rear dormer. Some examples of our work:
